Goolwa Cittaslow Farmers' Market

Goolwa

Are you passionate about fresh, local and sustainable food?

Goolwa Wharf currently hosts a popular market on the first and third Sunday of each month but there's a brand new addition to the program starting soon. The Goolwa Cittaslow Farmers' Market will be held on the second and fourth Sunday of the month, starting on Sunday October 23.

The very best, fresh, fantastic, Fleurieu produce will be available at this market including seasonal fruit and vegetables, milk and cheese, meat, eggs and more. All produce will be sourced locally and will be testament to the marvellous tastes of the Fleurieu.

Among the market stalls, you'll find 'The Hungry Caterpillar' a family baking business who bake only with locally sourced ingredients. They offer a large range of artisian breads, including sourdough, spelt, focaccias, Turkish bread and their best selling fruit and nut loaf.

Biodynamic Beef and Dorper Lamb will be available from Triple B farms near Strathalbyn. Not only are Triple B farm animals completely grass fed, but the grass and hay feed is produced using completely natural, chemical-free sprays and composts prepared on the farm. This results in tender, quality meat from humanely treated animals.

At 'Gina's Kitchen' stall, you'll find fresh vegetables and juices, home-made pickles, jams and sauces, raw honey and home-baked goods, to name a few.

Farmers' markets are the very best way to support local produce and suppliers and if you become a Market Member, you'll receive discounts each time you shop.
