Join us for the second film in our 'A taste of Herne Hill' doc series: Cittaslow by Piero Cannizzaro.

Cittaslow (Slow City) by Piero Cannizzaro (Italy- 60' -English Subtitles) will feature in a special screening at The Prince Regent, 69 Dulwich Road, SE24 0NJ on Saturday 17 May at 8pm.

The Cittaslow movement was born in Italy in 1999. Cittaslow means Slow City. Now it's a network of 147 Cittaslow towns in 24 countries across the world making Cittaslow an internationally recognised standard. Cittaslow is an accreditation for towns who work hard to make their part of the world a healthier, greener, happier, slower place to inhabit.

Piero Cannizzaro is a multi-award winning filmmaker, exploring eco-sustainable issues with a wide array of documentaries about Slow Food and Slow Cities. In this film we show four Cittaslow towns in Italy: Orvieto in the Umbria Region, Bra (Cuneo) in the Northern part of Piedmont, Amelia (Terni) again in Umbria and Pollica (Salerno) in the Southern part of Italy.

This is a FREE event. No tickets required, arrive early to get the best seats. Doors open at 7.30 pm
