Mold (UK): Food & Drink Festival 2012

Over twenty local restaurants, pubs, cafes and bistros are offering special menus or deals for three weeks from 1 September until the Festival weekend. The Festival showcases the best in local produce and promotes our local food offer.
Keen home-bakers are being invited to make prize winning Welsh cakes for a competition run by the WI at the F e s t i v a l . I t 's easy to enter, just bring three Welsh cakes and your entry form to the WI marquee by 4pm on Saturday. Prizes have been kindly donated by the WI, Jones Price & Sons, and Celyn Farmers' Market.

If you'd rather sit back and watch then cookery demonstrations from the Festivals' chefs are for you. TV's Aldo Zilli, famous for sea food and Italian cuisine, will be inspiring the crowds on Sunday, with Brian Mellor and Graham Tinsley making a welcome return on Saturday.
