Mold (UK) - Mold Bailey Hill appeal for Motte clearance work

Mold

Bailey Hill is the birth place of Mold and is classified as a Scheduled Ancient Monument with a Motte and two Baileys. Over the years it has become over grown and neglected, but a group of local people are determined to reverse that trend with an ambitious plan of improvements.

The Friends of Bailey Hill group has been awarded a possible £5,000 grant from Groundwork UK's 'X Marks the Spot', Treasured Spaces campaign for work to start on the improvement master plan for Bailey Hill.

To qualify for this they have to raise another massive £2,500 as 'match funding' – by 30 August!

If you would like to help them achieve this please make a donation so that the Friends can get started on the work.
