Publicize the Culture of Local Minority Group

Sanyi has a population of 16836 and 81% of it is Hakka people. However, the pioneer of Sanyi is the Pazeh people, one of the Taiwanese plains aborigines. Presently, there are about 100 Pazeh people living in Liyutan Village, Sanyi.

In order to highlight the traditional culture of the Pazeh People, Sanyi Township Office invites local artists Zeng Shu-Min and Chen Hao-Yu to create wall paintings which show the traditional life of the Pazeh People. Local residents paint the wall paintings together. The activity shows civic participation and publicize the Culture of the Pazeh People.

宣揚在地少數文化

三義鄉居民16,836人其中約有81%為客家族群，但三義鄉開拓鼻祖為平埔族原住民-巴宰族，目前還約有100位巴宰族人居住於三義鄉鯉魚潭村。

三義鄉公所為彰顯本鄉開拓鼻祖-巴宰族原住民傳統文化，特別邀請在地畫家曾淑敏老師、陳浩宇老師率領本鄉樂齡中心長者、青少年並結合鯉魚國小、鯉魚潭村居民共同在鯉魚國小運動場旁牆面繪製巴宰族傳統生活樣貌，以呈現本鄉老少公民參與行動力、宣揚巴宰族文化。
