A NEW URBAN PLANNING “SLOW”: CHANGSHAN, A NEW CHALLENGE FOR INTERNATIONAL CITTASLOW

On the occasion of our last meeting with the Cittaslow Chinese National Coordinating Gaochn / Yaxi in Nanjing Province, President Stefano Pisani met the Mayor and Delegates of candidates Changshan town for an important and innovative project: the new idea is to create from zero a new Cittaslow.

To plan and to build from the beginning to "news Cittaslow town" is a great challenge that will test the technical and scientific facilities as well as Cittaslow International policies.

The concept is: we can build a new vision of the city relying on the identity of places, sharing with the local residents in five villages, environmental sustainability, social responsibility shared.

A new era which will bring further efficiency to the Cittaslow policies that effectively contribute to the "good life" of millions of slow citizens around the world.

UPDATE: Sichuan, signed in Baitou (Chongzhou) the project of Tianfu "Cittaslow"
As learned last March 21, at Baitou (Chongzhou) took place the signing ceremony for the project on Tianfu "Cittaslow", created jointly by the Sichuan Development Holding and the Government of the Municipality of Chengzhou. The plan is to develop an area of 740,000 km square, with a total investment of 5 billion RMB.
