Cittaslow International organizes an international event to promote universal "concepts" and "projects" represent reality and the prospect of being Cittaslow.

Event Title: Balade de la Maison du Tourisme des Thermes & Coteaux et goûter aux saveurs de nos régions
Date : 30th september 2012
Venue : Parc de l'administration communale de Vaux-sous-Chèvremont (Chaudfontaine), Rue des Combattants, 26 à 4051 Chaudfontaine
Hours : the walking (stroll) begins à 13:30 and will be following by a mid-day snack based on slowfood products (sweet and salty pancakes, waffles, seasonal fruits, ...) prepared by local associations
Main theme : Walking Discovery of Chaudfontaine and "slowfood" tasting
Brief description of activities: This year, we will discover a part of Chaudfontaine (Vaux-sous-Chèvremont) : natural heritage, environnment, .... In collaboration with three local associations, we invite you in the heart of some districts : family walking, games based on the five senses, discovery of community gardens, tasting of slowfood flavors prepared by people in social and occupational insertion. A friendly afternoon to be shared between friends or in family.

ìBrief description of activities: Il 24 e 25 settembre, come da tradizione, si svolge a Bra la manifestazione "Da Cortile a Cortile", itinerario enogastronomico che si snoda tra oltre 100 cortili pubblici e privati della città. Rientra nel calendario degli eventi anche "La città in una notte": arte, cultura, spettacolo per vivere gli spazi cittadini sotto le stelle. Un insieme di iniziative che contribuiscono a dare alla città e alle realtà presenti ampia visibilità, sia giornalisticamente che turisticamente parlando. Per l'occasione è stata ideata una mostra-mercato dei prodotti enogastronomici e artigianali della rete internazionale delle città del buon vivere: per due giorni una piazza di Bra diventerà così il "Villaggio delle Città Slow". Il cuore della città si colorerà di tanti gazebo, dove il pubblico potrà conoscere da vicino le proposte turistiche e culturali, le prelibatezze, la storia e i prodotti tipici delle città slow aderenti.

Quest'anno il tema princiaple scelto dai ragazzi del Consiglio Comunale sono i « diritti » ; ogni laboratorio tratterà il tema dei diritti si spazierà con laboratori prettamente ludici a laboratori didattici.

1) Taking 'The Green School' to Hartowiec for joint sporting activities: ecological classes, health promotion projects such as 'We Know What We Eat – We Live Healthily' and 'Healthy Water', along with the Slow Food concept,
- inter generational activities for pupils, class tutors and parents,
- popularization of the Cittaslow idea among schools through presentations; having a go at craft activities in the craft workshop, a plein air painting workshop, and a plein air literature workshop; pupils cooking with well known cooks from the region,
