Independent evaluation of IEE: final report available

The recent final evaluation of IEE, carried out by an independent organisation, found that "the programme is relevant and useful" and that "overall the actions supported by the programme are of good quality".  It concluded that "the programme is a useful instrument that should be continued".  BUILD UP Skills: 21 projects selected for funding

21 projects were selected under the first call for proposals for BUILD UP Skills, a new multi-annual initiative financed through the IEE programme.  With these projects, representatives of the building industry, public authorities and the vocational training sector of 21 European countries are now committed to establishing national roadmaps for training and qualifying their craftsmen and other on-site workers (including renewable energy system installers) on high energy performance solutions for the building sector.
