Sanyi: Publicize the Culture of Local Minority Group

Sanyi has a population of 16836 and 81% of it is Hakka people. However, the pioneer of Sanyi is the Pazeh people, one of the Taiwanese plains aborigines. Presently, there are about 100 Pazeh people living in Liyutan Village, Sanyi.

In order to highlight the traditional culture of the Pazeh People, Sanyi Township Office invites local artists Zeng Shu-Min and Chen Hao-Yu to create wall paintings which show the traditional life of the Pazeh People. Local residents paint the wall paintings together. The activity shows civic participation and publicize the Culture of the Pazeh People.
